biographies:
When Logan and LaSeur began playing live music, they tried to
think of a name for the act.  After weeks of thought and getting
nowhere, AKA (also known as) was created which has allowed
them to have fun on stage by changing their stage persona from
time to time during their shows.  Many of the stage names come
from fans, but most, off the top of their heads.  Do you have a
good AKA name for them to use?

eric logan:
Music has always been a part of Eric's life from family jams to
church.  In 1994 he graduated from Hardin-Simmons University
with a degree in Music Business.  Logan began songwriting and
playing guitar at age 16.

When not on stage, he is the owner of eMotion Entertainment and a
well known Mobile Disc Jockey and MC of 17 years.  At First United
Methodist Church of Clyde, he serves as Director of Music.

Eric, his wife Laura and son and daughter, Carter and Alex live in
Clyde, TX.  Many times you will get to see Carter performing as a
special AKA guest!

From Abilene, Matt began playing guitar in High School and studied
under Doug Roysdon.  After graduating from McMurry University with
a degree in Biology, yep he's a smart one, him and his wife, Jenny
left for Austin where Matt played with some of Austin's finest.

Matt and his family currently reside in Hewitt, TX.
about the band
AKA The Band, is a performance band made up of seasoned
musicians who are bringing professionalism back into the field of
live music.  Not only does AKA boast a great wealth of talent and
stage presence, but they work with each client to customize the
necessary look, sound, and performance to match the celebration.

At the heart of AKA The Band is the acoustic duo, AKA, featuring
Eric Logan and Matt LaSeur.  These two have been entertaining
across Texas for a decade.  Their seemingly endless variety of
great music brings people back again and again.  They offer a
song list so lengthy, they have been known to play a five hour
show and never repeat a song.
